What began as a single act of obedience to God has grown into a lifeline for Nigeria's most overlooked — widows, fatherless children, and the elderly poor.
Our founder did not set out to build an organisation. She received what she describes as a divine burden placed on her heart — a calling to seek out those quietly suffering behind closed doors. Not waiting for them to come forward, but going to them.
Every month, our team visits homes across Rivers, Edo, and Lagos States — listening to stories, carrying groceries, paying school fees, and sitting with the elderly who have no one. What moves our founder most is the invisible suffering: an elderly widow in Port Harcourt, living entirely alone, forgotten by the world but not by God.

When I found an elderly widow in Port Harcourt, living completely alone, with no children, no income, and no one to check on her — I knew that this was more than charity. This is obedience. This is the gospel with hands and feet.
I pray every day for Esthers and Deborahs to find us — women and men of courage who will walk with a full heart into these homes, carry bags of food up staircases, sit with grieving mothers, and speak life into children who have lost their fathers. You do not need a title. You need a willing heart.
The foundation of God is not for man — it is for His glory. And so long as He provides, we will go.

When my husband died, I did not know how I would feed my children. Bridge of Light came to my door — they brought food, paid my daughter's school fees, and simply sat with me when I cried. I have not been forgotten by God.
I was running out of medication and could not afford more. They came the very next week with everything I needed. When they prayed with me, I felt something lift off my shoulders. God sent them to me.
They helped me start my petty trading and checked on me every month. Now I feed my children myself. The monthly meetings gave me the courage to keep going. I pray God blesses this ministry without measure.
